Discovering the world.
We don’t have to tell you that toddlers are very inquisitive. At Planet Kids, we encourage their curiosity with fun, hands-on activities. Playing with toys and letting imaginations run wild are just some of the ways children discover more about the world around them. We also believe that making friends and learning to play well with others is important, so kids participate in large and small group activities every day.
Our toddlers learn the days of the week, months of the year, seasons and numbers 1-20 in both English and Spanish. Oftentimes, we create art that reflects what we’re learning about on a particular day or week. The walls at Planet Kids are covered with wonderful evidence of the children’s blossoming creativity… Picassos in the making!
We work with older toddlers who are starting to use communication skills to develop problem solving capabilities. Learning to problem solve is critical to child development, and we’re here to walk alongside our toddlers and encourage them to rely on their growing speech abilities.
“The lessons we learn are valuable, the memories we make are priceless.”
