Fall is finally here! Soon enough, the days will get even shorter and the nights will become a little cooler. Just a little cooler—we are in Texas, after all! There’s nothing quite like a warm bowl of soup on a crisp fall night. Chicken soup is good for the soul, right? We think so! Here are some of our favorite, kid-approved soup recipes for your family to enjoy this fall.
Slow Cooker Pizza Soup
You read that right—pizza soup! What kid (or adult) wouldn’t love a soup that tastes like pizza? And in case you need more convincing to try this one: it’s a slow cooker meal. We can all use more of those!
Velvety Vegetable-Cheese Soup
If you need a delicious soup that can be ready in 25 minutes, look no further. This cheesy soup only calls for three ingredients and is a definite crowd pleaser.
Classic Chicken Noodle Soup
You might already have a go-to chicken noodle soup recipe; but if you don’t, try this one! Tip: if you’re going to store this for more than two days, store the noodles and broth separately. This prevents the noodles from falling apart.
Cheeseburger Soup
Maybe the secret to kid-approved soup is taking their favorite meals and making it a soup? Why not! This creamy, cheesy soup is filled with hidden vegetables that your kids might not even notice. We didn’t title this “Healthy Soups for Fall” for a reason!
Purple Cauliflower Soup
You might just want to call this one “purple soup” if you live with any picky eaters, because this pretty soup is loaded with nutrients! It gets its purple hue from—you guessed it—purple cauliflower. Alternative names for this soup that your little ones will love: unicorn soup or dragon soup.
We hope you try one or all of these soups this season. Whichever ones you try, don’t forget the crusty bread!
